An Instrument, Test Kit, and iOS device with the DxPro app is required to run a test.
The UOL COVID-19 Test is only available for purchase for customers operating under a CLIA Waiver, Certificate of Compliance, or Certificate of Accreditation. You will be required to input a valid CLIA registration ID upon checkout.

The UOL Test System Overview
Uh-Oh Labs is developing diagnostic tests through our Loop-de-Loop™ platform which enables simplicity, speed, and lower costs while providing accurate, lab-grade results.
The UOL COVID-19 Instrument is required to run the UOL COVID-19 Test. Requires A/C power source, Test Kit, and an iOS device running the DxPro mobile app (not included). Up to 5 Instruments can connect to to 1 iOS device at a time.
The UOL COVID-19 Test External Controls are to test Instrument for proper function and contamination. Each Control requires 1 Test Kit, an Instrument, and DxPro iOS app (not included).

Just return the Demo Instrument and any unused Test Kits after your evaluation using the prepaid shipping label - if you choose to purchase the system, we’ll credit you $200.
The Demo Instrument is for evaluation purposes only and is not intended for commercial or clinical use. The Demo Instrument is to be returned to Uh-Oh Labs after evaluation is completed.
Test Kits contain a Nasal Swab, Vial solution, Used sticker, Assay tube, and Desiccant. Each Test Kit is single-use and requires the UOL COVID-19 Instrument and DxPro iOS app to run (both not included). Kits come in a case of 20 Kits. Each test takes approximately 40 minutes to run. Shelf life is 12 months at room temperature.

The UOL COVID-19 Test is a molecular test using a patented chemistry called Loop-de-Loop.
Loop-de-Loop utilizes RT-LAMP (Reverse Transcriptase - Loop-mediated isothermal AMPlification).

Molecular tests have a much higher analytical sensitivity to detecting COVID.
Simply put, molecular tests can detect COVID much earlier (1-3 days) than many rapid antigen tests. Some rapid tests may never catch an infectious individual.

The test can detect COVID positive samples in as few as 12 minutes, however for negative samples the test will run for 40 minutes.

In a clinical trial, the UOL COVID-19 Test had an overall accuracy of 96.1%.
The PPA/sensitivity was 87.7% and the NPA/specificity was 100%. However, excluding samples with very low levels of virus, the PPA was 97.9%.
The UOL COVID-19 Test can also detect all Variants of Concern, including Delta, BA.1, BA.2, BA.4, and BA.5.

If you are dissatisfied with the UOL COVID-19 Test, you may return the Instrument at any time. Instruments that are undamaged and in good working order will be eligible for a refund with a $50 restocking fee and shipping.
